Bizarre News was started by some guy working on his computer at home all the way back in 1997 or 1998. We recruited Bizarre News to be a part of our catalog of email newsletters and it soon became one of our biggest publications on Gophercentral.com.
On March 1st, after 25 weird and wild years, we wrapped up its historic run. Hopefully you we one of our many readers that got to appreciate the laughs as much as we appreciated the bizarre events and occurrences that happened each and every day. For past issue visit the Bizarre News Archives.
Of course a little over a month later we discovered a video, from a VHS Tape no less, that featured Joe, editor of Bizarre News, on the syndicated talk show, Sally Jessy Raphael. He was there to share the “Top 5 Bizarre News Stories” we had reported at the time.
It’s so much fun to look back at this video and marvel at the technology, the fashions, the hairstyles, and what we considered bizarre back then.
